The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is set to become law across all European Union (EU) member states on June 28, 2025, and it’s here to make life easier for people with disabilities and older adults.

Essentially, businesses (in or outside the EU) offering products or services to EU consumers will need to make sure everything is accessible to all. No exceptions unless your business is tiny (less than 10 employees and under €2 million in revenue, then you’re off the hook).

The EAA covers a lot: digital devices, banking, e-commerce, transportation, TV’s, basically anything that helps people get through their day without needing to perform a circus act to use it.

From June 28, 2025, all new products and services must be accessible, and by June 28, 2030, even your old products need to catch up.  🏃‍♂️⏳

So, if you're a business, now's the time to get moving.

What can you do? 🤔💡

First, check what needs fixing (is your website a maze?). Then, make changes (maybe add some big buttons and readable text). And keep checking back to make sure you’re still in line with the rules.

Why bother? 🤷‍♂️😒

Compliance helps you reach a wider audience, boosts customer satisfaction, and earns you kudos for being inclusive...Fail to comply, though, and you’re looking at fines, legal battles, and angry customers.

So, act fast, and you'll not only stay legal but also win over a bunch of new fans for your business. 👥🎉
